2012 Danny Noonan Invitational

The 12th Annual Danny Noonan Invitational returned to Mesquite, NV after a two year stint in Primm! Not much has changed since our last trip to Mesquite, except they have added another quality golf course. The group played the traditional Noonan Scramble on Thursday afternoon at the newly designed Conestoga Golf Club, which aside from the 40 mph winds was a great new course in Mesquite. The team of Ryan Hadley, Charlie Hambrick and Jason Kickhaefer fought through the winds to capture 1st place in the scramble event.

On Friday, official Noonan Cup play began with the morning round at the Canyons Golf Course at the Oasis Golf Club. The Annual Noonan Horserace was played on Friday afternoon on the Palmer course, with the results of this event published under the "Noonan Horserace Tourney" tab of this website.

This year, the Noonan Cup ended up in a tie at 13 points apiece between the two teams. Instead of splitting the $500, the group played one big hand of Blackjack at Harrah's on Saturday night. Unfortunately, the cards didn't come up aces and the house took the prize money.
